“We have a support contract and don’t have to worry about anything because they monitor our systems remotely. If something goes wrong, for example if the server goes offline, they let us know and are onto it straight away. iTeam are very proactive and as well as the support guys we have easy access to the senior team, who are very hands on when needed. James and David in particular could be working on a problem until the small hours if necessary.

When one of our servers went down, they supplied a whole new system but managed to patch things up and keep the old server before installing the new one. It could have been very difficult if we’d been offline for a long time but iTeam got us up and running in the meantime and then successfully migrated our data to the new server so that we were quickly back to normal. On another occasion we had a major problem with our anti-virus system and they installed temporary protection on all our computers while they researched a proper solution.

Basically, iTeam has always ensured we have a decent IT system in place and have taken care of various upgrades over the years. They are very skilled technically when it comes to working out the best solutions and always pull all the stops out to resolve any problems. They’re a friendly bunch too. If I have a problem I contact the helpdesk and they’re always good at getting back to you.

We usually have one point of contact when it comes to site visits, so they know our server and what we have and haven’t got. They also look after our managing director’s home office and if he has any problems, with a printer for example, iTeam will get someone in to fix the problem within a few hours or latest the next day.

As designers we use Autocad and 3D Studio Max CAD and rendering software, and we also use third party software such as MillerCAD for Herman Miller furniture. If there are ever any problems, for example with a new operating system, iTeam resolve it for us or work out what route to take and guide us in our approach to the software provider.

Whenever we need something new, we provide a brief, for example for Autocad, and iTeam will come back with a specification and a quote which we can discuss together to meet our needs and our budget. They are very good when we need new equipment, building and testing it at their place and then installing it at our offices, adding in any relevant software so we don’t have to worry about anything.

Every year I go and test the market for costs. iTeam isn’t necessarily the cheapest on paper but they deliver excellent value. They are good at what they do and it’s a hassle-free relationship which is worth a lot to us.”
