GFI MAX Mail Protection provides a true email continuity service which acts as an ‘always available’ email backup solution. If your server is unavailable, your email will be queued and accessible to read and reply to from the online control panel. You can continue to contact your customers from any other location with internet access immediately and without any further emergency configuration.

When your server is back online again, the messages are then sent on and you can work as normal.

Virus and Spam Filtering

GFI Max MailProtection uses its own servers to strip out the unwanted and harmful email and then only sends legitimate and safe email to your server. This reduces the load on your systems, the bandwidth on your internet connection and avoids harmful email ever touching your server.

Incoming email is redirected to GFI’s fully redundant network and application architecture, which processes messages in real-time via both traditional spam filtering techniques and leading-edge approaches to message analysis including authenticity checks, message fingerprinting, heuristic rule sets, extensive URI databases, real-time message source analysis, and customizable whitelists and blacklists.
