“iTeam was recommended to us about six years ago when we were looking for IT support. At that point we were based in the same office complex and although we’ve since moved premises twice we have stayed with them, even when we relocated to North Devon four years ago, seeing us through various infrastructure upgrades and hosting our servers at their Bristol office. At first we thought about taking on a local firm but the relationship, confidence and knowledge built up with iTeam means that geography has never been an issue.

Our contract includes remote servicing plus an annual visit, when James comes down on his motorbike for the day to sort everything out! He checks all our systems and equipment, including computers, printers, scanners and wireless set-up, and sits and listens to us over a Cornish pasty! We air our concerns or tell him what isn’t working properly and he’ll resolve any problems or simply explain issues, giving us peace of mind.

As well as day-to-day support, iTeam is scheduled to log in remotely three times a year to complete all necessary updates, including security, licence terms, and any issues such as capacity on files and folders. They work on the servers overnight and on one computer at a time, so we’re never without the systems we need. They’ll also examine any specific issues we’ve briefed them on. For example, I was having trouble synchronising documents uploaded to the server by a colleague but iTeam quickly came up with a simple solution and advised me how to deal with this in future.

iTeam also developed a new website for us early last year, and despite indecision on our part the team was very patient and has created a much more professional presence.

Without a doubt, their greatest value is that they are always there for us. We can ring anytime, even with a simple question, and they sort it out without batting an eyelid or making us feel stupid! The support team is very good. They never take long answering the phone and even at busy times they’ll guarantee to call you back in 15 minutes and always do.

iTeam advises us on equipment upgrades and manages any installations seamlessly, with minimal downtime. We can’t afford to be offline – for us that means no business. They are sensitive to our needs and are quick to implement solutions in a way that doesn’t affect operations.

We do a lot of public sector work and when you tender there are certain expectations about your system capabilities. iTeam will help us with that and we are very confident about the outcome.
